The CEKOM 3LJ institution, with co-financing from the Research, Development, Innovation (IRI) Program of the Split-Dalmatia County and the support of the city of Trilj, is implementing the project "InoFood Dalmatia 2024 - networking for innovation in the field of food production" during 2024, which has as its goal stimulating economic development and introducing structural changes, improving the innovation environment and strengthening value chains in the field of nutrition and food production through increasing cooperation activities for research and development of the scientific research and business sector.

The InoFood Dalmatia 2024 project will connect the business and scientific research sectors through various activities at meetings, conferences, reports, consultations and informing interested stakeholders. During the project, several surveys will be conducted to determine the needs and potential directions for development and partnerships between sectors, which will provide valuable information and foundations for new projects and new products.

The InoFood Dalmatia 2024 conference will be organized, which will be attended by representatives from the field of food production in the Split-Dalmatia County and representatives of the scientific research sector. At the conference, economic entities will have the opportunity to present their products, participate in panel discussions, learn about new technologies and processes being tested by scientific and research institutions, connect with scientists and see an example of good practice in existing cross-sectoral cooperation.

After the conference, a working meeting is planned with those entities from both sectors that will show the greatest potential, and through consulting, mediation and guidance, efforts will be made to create a basis for signing a cooperation agreement that will lead to at least one new project and/or the development of at least one new product in the field of innovative food with added value.

The project "InoFood Dalmatia 2024 - networking for innovation in the field of food production" will seek to increase awareness of the importance of food production in the Split-Dalmatia County, aligned with the latest trends and scientific achievements, and based on traditional and recognizable items.

The Split-Dalmatia County is co-financing the project "InoFood Dalmatia 2024 - networking for innovation in the field of food production" with funds from the Program Research, Development, Innovation (RDI) of the Split-Dalmatia County" in the amount of 12,142.85 euros, and the rest of the project costs are covered by the CEKOM 3LJ Institution with the support of the city of Trilj.
